Guest Service Associate

Function:
As a Guest Service Associate, you are responsible for positive Guest interactions while serving Guests in a friendly and efficient manner and play an integral role in ensuring our customers have exceptional dining experiences. At all times, GSAs are expected to be attentive to our Guests' needs, making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed.
The right person will be passionate about food and service and thoroughly enjoy creating excellent experiences for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a friendly, outgoing disposition and pleasant personality.
Primary Duties & responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
- Ability to describe all menu items and daily specials, prices and methods of preparation
- Take orders and serve guests, noting all special dietary needs and requests
- Communicate with kitchen staff and keep them informed by noting timing of meal progression
- Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner
- Make accurate guest checks and secure proper payment
- Conclude dining experience by acknowledging choice of restaurant; inviting guests to return
- Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and clear and reset tables timely
- Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of all areas and service equipment
- Assisting all teammates on the floor to create a team work environment
- Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience
- Maintains dining ambiance with an enthusiastic attitude
- Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
- Perform all assigned duties as assigned by manager

- Excellent oral communication skills required

- Must speak English fluently and be able to write in basic English

- Should be customer focused and flexible
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school education required, higher degree preferable
- Prior 2-year restaurant experience is preferred
- Read, write, and speak English fluently
- Good customer service skills required
- Ability to use POS/MICROS would be an advantage
