Your role and responsibilities

ABB Electrification provides leading electrical distribution and management technologies, solutions, and services to electrify the world in a safe, smart, and sustainable way. The portfolio includes medium- and low-voltage electrical components, switchgear, digital devices, enclosures, and circuit breakers, among others. With our products, solutions, and services, we collaborate with customers to improve power delivery and security, enhance energy management, efficiency, and operational reliability, as we seek to achieve a low carbon society.

Your responsibilities:

  1. Selling products/systems/services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned divisions.
  2. Establishing and maintaining effective customer relationships to understand their needs, promoting their understanding of ABB's complete product/systems/services offering, and aligning with them to provide a solution.
  3. Ensuring a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  4. Preparing sales plans using ABB authorized tools.
  5. Communicating to the customers about the details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
  6. Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
  7. Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities when needed.
  8. Preparing offers in coordination with the bid and proposal department and/or the Marketing Manager.

Qualifications for the role
  • You hold a university degree in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronic Engineering.
  • You have 3 - 6 years of experience in a Sales role.
  • You have experience in the oil & gas /utility sector or similar.
  • You are familiar with the local market in Qatar.
  • You have strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
  • You are able to build and maintain effective relationships with customers.
