A leading organisation is seeking a Senior Business Support Analyst to oversee contract administration, cost control, and financial planning within the Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) division . The role ensures compliance with company policies, financial regulations, and international best practices while working in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.

Key Responsibilities

Budgeting & Financial Control

  • Develop and consolidate the HSEQ budget for annual and five-year planning cycles , ensuring alignment with project targets and corporate strategy.
  • Monitor financial performance , tracking expenditures against budgets, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions.
  • Oversee cost planning models , ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with corporate financial targets.
  • Support operations and project teams in HSEQ planning and procedures , ensuring financial sustainability.

Contract & Procurement Management

  • Manage contract administration , including performance reporting, invoicing, accruals, and compliance oversight.
  • Lead the post-award contract process , including the development of Contract Work Orders (CWO) , final payments, and contract close-out procedures.
  • Review and finalise purchase requisitions , ensuring alignment with financial policies and operational needs.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations , collaborating with technical teams to ensure products and services meet business requirements.
  • Monitor contractual spending limits , ensuring purchase orders in SAP align with pre-approved budgets and contracted rates.

Operational & Strategic Support

  • Facilitate the development and execution of contracts , ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and maintain HSEQ manpower progress reports , including training plans and organisational change requests.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations , including Table of Financial Authorities (TOFA) and Work Program & Budget (WP&B) requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance cost efficiency and contract performance .

About You

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, or a related discipline .
  • 8 years of relevant experience in administration and financial management .
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems .
  • Strong understanding of contract management, cost control, and procurement processes .
  • Excellent analytical skills for financial performance tracking and reporting.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications , including spreadsheets and databases.
  • Effective communication skills , with the ability to collaborate across departments and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with multiple priorities.
