WSP Middle East are currently looking for a Planning Manager for High Rise Project Management projects in Qatar.

Your new role, what's involved?
  1. Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation, to ensure a smooth and efficient construction process.
  2. Collaborate with the finance team to create and monitor project budgets, identifying cost-saving opportunities and ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
  3. Work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and communication throughout all project phases.
  4. Identify potential project risks and develop contingency plans to address and mitigate them effectively.
  5. Regularly assess project progress against established timelines and milestones, promptly addressing any delays or deviations.
  6. Implement robust quality control measures to ensure that construction work meets the highest standards and adheres to all relevant regulations and codes.
  7. Optimize resource allocation, including manpower, materials, and equipment, to maximize efficiency and productivity.
  8. Provide timely and accurate project status reports to senior management, highlighting key performance indicators and project milestones.
  9. Oversee the preparation and administration of contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring all parties comply with contractual obligations.
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
  1. A Degree in Civil Engineering. Preferably with a 2-year postgraduate degree in engineering management /management and PgMP or PMP certification.
  2. Minimum 15 years post-graduate experience in planning and scheduling both engineering and construction activities with a minimum of 07 years in a managerial role.
  3. Experience in the design and construction of large-scale building projects including super rise towers.
  4. Experience in the application of Primavera P6, claim Digger, Schedule Analyzer, and other presentation software like MS Office, VISIO, and Crystal Reports.
  5. Thorough knowledge of industry practice and regulations.
  6. Knowledge of current technology and its effective use on the project.
