**Position : FOOD/MENU DEVELOPER (SOUS CHEF/CHEF EXPERIENCE)**
We are a well-known international QSR shop chain that offers freshly prepared food and beverages.
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop new recipes and produce prototypes / samples for review and approval
- Improve existing product lines for sandwiches, wraps, salads, soups, and hot food.
- Conduct market research to stay up to date on current food trends and identify new product opportunities.
- Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients and develop new products.
- Suggest packaging options for newly developed products
- Ensure the _“how to make instructions guide are up to date for all products”_
- Communicate full information for all changes appropriately as required.
- Work with the operations team to ensure that new products are cost-effective, can be produced efficiently, and meet food safety and quality standards.
- Conduct taste tests and collect feedback to refine recipes and improve product quality.
- Maintain accurate records of recipe development, testing, and production processes.
- Support the marketing team by providing product information and insights.
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Culinary Arts, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in recipe development, preferably in the food retail or restaurant industry in Qatar
- Strong knowledge of food ingredients, flavor profiles, and food safety regulations
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- Passion for food and a desire to create new and innovative products that meet customer needs.
- Available immediate or short notice with NOC
