Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission, Head of Office, and Senior Operations
Officer and the direct supervision of the Project Officer (Non-Food Items (NFIs) and
Distribution), working closely with the Assistance Programme Units (Protection, Monitoring &
Evaluation (M&E)), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS), Education, Site
Management Support (SMS), Migration Health Division (MHD), Resettlement and Movement

Management (RMM), Information Communication Technology (ICT), Procurement and Logistics
Unit, and all IOM thematic units.

As an Associate Project Officer for NFI Data Processing, you will participate in the accurate and
timely processing of data related to the distribution and tracking of essential non-food and
supplementary food items at the transit camp. You will be responsible for maintaining data
integrity and quality assurance, contributing technical and administrative assistance for the
effective planning and coordination of NFI programs, and assisting with data analysis and
reporting efforts.

**_ Core Functions / Responsibilities:_**

1. Under close guidance of the NFIs Project coordinator, provide basic technical support for the
development and implementation of data collection tools, systems, and databases that support
NFIs/SFIs program monitoring and evaluation.

2. Process and carry out preliminary analyses of NFI data, ensuring accuracy, completeness,
and adherence to data protection and confidentiality protocols.

3. Collect, compile, and verify data received from operation teams or external partners, closely
following established procedures and guidelines for the NFI/SFI response.

4. Closely collaborate with ICT, Information Management, M&E, and Reporting teams to assist
in defining precise data requirements and standardizing reporting formats.

5. Conduct regular data quality assessments, identify discrepancies or data entry errors in the
distribution platforms, and recommend corrective action as required.

6. Draft specific segments of reports, presentations, and visualizations that communicate
program performance and impact.

7. Stay updated on sector-specific data standards and emerging NFI data management and
analysis trends.

8. Participate in project planning and budgeting processes.

9. Supervise assigned operation assistants in the day-to-day processing operations of the NFI
and distribution project activities.

10. When requested, attend coordination meetings with partners and stakeholders at the Camp
as Sayliyah (CAS) transit site.

11. Strictly adhere to respectful working environment guidelines and rules such as Protection
from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse and Sexual Harassment (PSEAH).

12. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

**_ Required Qualifications and Experience:_**

**Education**
- Master’s degree in Information Management, Information Technology, Management, Data

Science, Computer Science, Statistics, humanitarian studies, or a related field, from an
accredited academic institution; or,
- University degree in the above fields with two years of relevant professional experience.
