**Key Areas**:

- Provide managerial support to various Oil & Gas projects awarded to the company
- Interpret the Oil & Gas projects awarded in terms of value perception and set the milestones accordingly
- Direct each project team to plan for strategies and policies most suitable for realizing the project in detail
- Develop various programs and establish procedures to execute the plan in detail.
- Plan for various resources using systematic tools and limit within tender projections and quality standards
- Approve the project budgets and work schedules and get sanction from top management.
- Ensure that the complete scope of work is specified in contract agreements with sub-contractors and that responsibility of the sub-contractor is detailed out in the agreements.
- Conducts final negotiations and approves agreement between company and sub-contractor and forward sub-contract to MD for approval and signature.
- Support the project team in selecting suitable people for various positions, planning proper performance management system, training and development, evaluation and appraising their performance in coordination with HR department
- Ensure procurement of suitable equipment, machineries and quality materials for various Oil & Gas projects in accordance with the latest technical development in that area and project quality specifications
- Direct the project team to develop, modify, implement and ensures the operation of systems, policies and procedures within the organization for smooth operations.
- Provides management support, expert advice and develop solutions for issues faced by the project teams in carrying out their role.
- Ensures that the organization functions within the applicable laws, regulations and approved industry practices.
- Perform, analysis on engineering aspects, project status, financial health and administration management; interpret the information and reports, recommend and carry out approved changes in operation and report to the top management.
- Responsible to achieve set targets in relation to Invoicing, Collection, Performance &productivity and ensure that the cost budgets for each project is prepared and controlled strictly within acceptable parameters.
- Ensure the completion of project within in stipulated time frame, and value out puts as per the quotation agreement and complete satisfaction of the clients as well as physical profit, and good will to the company as estimated.
- Provides feedback to the tendering and business development team in relation to project estimates/price with data of actual quantities, material, supply, services and costs and pinpoints weaknesses in pricing and contract issues.

**QHSE**:

- Monitors quality, health, safety & environmental performance of the division.
- Ensure that all work is executed within the relevant legislative policies and guidelines.
- Ensure all records of all Test/Measuring instruments including these of sub-contractors.
- Ensure that safety standards to comply with the Health and Safety Regulations.
- Ensure & manage all project activities to at least the highest of the Companies HSE policies and the Countries relevant Health and Safety requirements.
- Encourages involvement of staff in the management of IMS

**People Development**
- Implement and maintain programs to ensure that subordinates develop and improve their skills and contribute optimally to the Division’s objectives.
- Ensure that subordinates are sufficiently “multi-skilled” to enable re-allocation of duties while people are on leave.

**Requirements**:

- **Min. of 15 - 20 years of experience within Oil & Gas** environment of which 5 - 7 years needs to be in similar capacity (Director/Advisory level)
- Must have Qatar experience in leading spearheading large-scale Oil and Gas projects
- Should possess strong understanding of the latest developments in Oil & Gas industry, technical skills to interpret, direct and control various operational activities and systems involved in Oil & Gas projects
- Should possess strong leadership and team development skills to lead various project teams to accomplish the objectives fulfilling all specifications and limits
- Strong effective communicator in writing, business presentations and in interpersonal communication and client interactions
- Able to direct the efforts of a team of diverse project engineering professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to increase productivity and continuously improve methods, approaches, and departmental contribution while being cost-sensitive and commitment to continuous learning.
- Demonstrated ability to visualize the big picture and provide useful and strategic advice and input across business of the company and on the senior executive team.
