Pro/government Relations Officer

Shall be responsible for coordinating and handling of activities related to public authorities to ensure a smooth administration process. Shall perform clerical and administrative duties and liaise with various government departments and agencies.
1. Assist and escort the new employee in the step by step procedure on medical testing, blood group testing and finger print scanning.
2. Accomplish RP (Iqama) form upon completion of medical tests for the finger print scan procedure of new staff.
5. Prepare Arabic letters upon requests.
6. Prepare immigration related forms such as (new visa, visa modification, transfer of sponsorship forms etc.) and submit to immigration and labor departments for approval.
7. Process and follow up on government related transactions in order to ensure that they are promptly processed through appropriate authorities.
8. Assist in completing departure and exit formalities of some staff especially for terminated staff.
9. In coordination with the HR Generalist, shall be responsible in the processing of the renewals of company registration, computer ID, Trading License, chamber of commerce and civil defense license.
10. Maintaining confidentiality and security of company and employee documents at all times.
11. Build and maintain a strong network of relations with Government employees.
12. Managing general inquiries from employees regarding PRO functions promptly and efficiently.
13. Perform other duties as required and assigned by the manager.
**Qualifications, Experience and Skills**
- At least a Bachelor’s Degree holder related to Law and Translation
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar capacity with sound knowledge of the Qatar Labour Law
- Knowledge in government compliance procedures related to labor and business operations
- Excellent Arabic and English communication skills
