National Project Logistics Business Development

The Business Development Manager is responsible to identify and generate new business opportunities for KN Project Logistics. They have a deep understanding of the Project Logistics market, service offerings, and operational requirements
- ** Your Role **:Spend most of the time in customer-facing activities, hunting for new business and working hand in hand with Pricing and Customer Excellence Teams. Personally own an account portfolio.
- ** Your Responsibilities**:
- To qualify and generate new business opportunities with a clear focus on Breakbulk and Out of Gauge (OOG) shipments, specific Industries, Areas / Territories, National Key Accounts, Special Products and New Markets
- To create value for Customers and KNPL and to foster relationships
- To drive profitable growth
- To demonstrate superior Project Logistics product and market knowledge
- To attend customer events, exhibitions and meetings (internal & external) and deliver presentations about our industry solutions
- To monitor our competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing & products
- To report customer complaints to the Customer Excellence Team
**Your Skills and Experiences**:
- 5 + years of experience as a Business development specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of the current logistics market in Qatar.
- Exceptional public speaking, negotiation and communication skills in English, Arabic is a plus.
- Being able to work autonomously and effectively manage your time
- Strong problem-solving and Detail-oriented
