Qatar Distribution Company is currently recruiting for Admin and Customer Support Assistant.

The role is responsible in providing quality administration support for the smooth functioning on a daily basis, for the team. Handling of confidential and sensitive issues involving continual inter-departmental relations. Represents the team through correspondence, telephone and personal contact. Liaise with other departments for arranging the logistics of resources. Carry out general office duties as and when required. Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution. Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents. Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies. Take the extra mile to engage customers.

Role Accountabilities
- Acknowledging and assist in resolving customer complaints.
- Product knowledge to effectively answer customer queries.
- Perform advanced, diversified, and confidential administrative and secretarial support. Handle a wide variety of situations and tasks involving the clerical and administrative functions of the office.
- Provide assistance to employees to ensure that the policies and procedures are implemented and company standards are met.
- Receive/answer telephone calls and inquiries and ensure messages are clearly taken and delivered promptly.
- Inventory check if office and pantry stocks, including asset management of QDC equipment.
- Perform administrative tasks based on set procedures, establish and maintain confidential filing systems, categorise and maintain manuals, invoices, manage and co-ordinate travel needs and other source data.
- Assists other department in document filing when required.
- Coordinate internal and external communications.
- Record all incoming and outgoing documents, ensuring completeness and accuracy of information.
- Liaise with other departments for collection of documents and information sharing when requested.
- Liaise with the IT department for IT systems assignment, replacement and maintenance.
- Assists in uploading the roster of QDC operations staff.
- In-charge of uniform stock inventory and issuance as per the staff entitlement.
- Handle and issue petty cash in line with an approved requisition.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

Qualifications

About you
- Bachelor's Degree or Highschool Qualification.
- Minimum 2 years job related experience
- Experience in Retail or general office function
- Knowledge in eTAS and Oracle
- Experience in Human Resource is an advantage
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information and records
- Organized and detail oriented
- Maintain professional interaction with internal and external high-level positions
- Strong interpersonal and team working skills
