- Work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer or similar role
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Hands-on experience with purchasing software (e.g. JD oracle )Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of market research.

Qualifications and Experience
- 1-3 years’ experience in international sporting events specifically in Venue Logistics.
- Venue Logistics experience, ideally at Asian Games, Commonwealth Games, FIFA FWC, European Games, Olympic Games, Pan Am Games, or similar.
- Strong IT skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Fluency in English required, Arabic and additional languages are an added benefit.
- A team player with a strong customer service focus, comfortable in both upward / downward communication and a desire to go the extra mile.
- Ability to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public / private settings, as required.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, multi-tasking, and prioritisation of tasks and deliverables.
- Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude; exhibiting patience, persistence and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.
- Excellent analytical skills; ability to make decisions both independently and within a team environment
- High attention to details.
