Learning and Development Specialist

The Learning and Development Specialist has responsibility and accountability for all Learning and Development (L and D) activity within Nabina Holding. This is a hand on and dynamic role, which involves coordinating L and D activity across the company (including the online portal), leading on the design and implementation of new L and D initiatives and projects as well as helping promote best practice in our policies and processes to encourage focused and effective development for our people.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Planning and coordinating Learning and Development activity
- To provide comprehensive corporate and department/division learning and development
plans to support the objectives and priorities for the Company.
- Learning and Development Project Design and Implementation.
- To design and implement new and existing L and D projects.
- To lead on the design and then evolve a succession planning strategy so the company can identify and track the development of its people to meet its future objectives.

- Strengthening Learning and People Interventions
- To ensure this compliments good Employee Relations practice by flagging issues for consideration through more formal processes (ensure these are joined up and dovetail
each other).
- To work with HR Manager on the design and delivery of a people interventions upskilling
program to improve the quality of people interventions.
- To work with the HR Manager on the design of an online portal so line managers can access policies and best practice easily.
**OTHER DUTIES**:
To deliver services effectively, a degree of flexibility is needed, and the post holder may be required to perform work not specifically referred to above. Such duties, however, should not normally exceed those expected of an employee at that grade.
**Qualifications and Experience**:
- Associate CIPD
- Certificate in Learning and Development Practice or equivalent
- Good standard of education up to a degree level (or relevant experience)
- Experience of training program development and delivery
- Experience of managing teams and service delivery
**Salary**: From QAR7,000.00 per month
**Experience**:

License/Certification:
- CIPD Certificate (preferred)
- Certificate in L and D Practice or equivalent (preferred)
