This Tailor is individually contributing assigned work with different high end brands by altering purchased garments according to customer’s specifications and preferences to ensure that the division short term objectives and goals are met on points of service to lead to customer and team satisfaction, in addition this role will have to deal with VIP customer directly to understand their requirements for the alteration and based on customers request might also do outdoor services at their home.

**Operational**:
1. Dealing with customers inside the boutique and identify on site the required adjustment of purchased goods.

2. Proper communication with the team and full cooperation in order to provide best service and results and meet the deadline.

3. Dealing with VIP customers and provide outdoor service at their home when requested by management.

4. Dealing with external suppliers to ensure availability of all tools required for the job.

5. Sew garments, using needles and thread or sewing machines.

6. Measure parts such as sleeves or pant legs, and mark or pin-fold alteration lines.

7. Take up or let down hems to shorten or lengthen garment parts such as sleeves.

8. Let out or take in seams in suits and other garments to improve fit.

9. Assemble garment parts and join parts with basting stitches, using needles and thread or sewing machines.

10. Remove stitches from garments to be altered, using rippers or razor blades.

11. Record required alterations and instructions on tags, and attach them to garments.

12. Examine tags on garments to determine alterations that are needed.

14. Maintain garment drape and proportions as alterations are performed.

15. Press garments, using hand irons or pressing machines.

16. Trim excess material, using scissors.

17. Position patterns of garment parts on fabric, and cut fabric along outlines, using scissors.

18. Sew buttonholes and attach buttons in order to finish garments.

19. Put in padding and shaping materials.
