**Job Role Summary**:
As a senior position, we are looking for confident, friendly Beach Managers with maturity and substantial experience within the active sports environment. You’ll be enthusiastic, approachable and capable of leading your team to deliver our full range of beach and watersports activities to guests of all ages in a professional, safe and fun environment.

**Key Responsibilities and Tasks**:

- Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times
- Maintain an excellent standard of customer service
- Create a safe beach environment for both staff and guests
- Oversee the maintenance, repair and security
- Liaise with your Activities Manager to place orders for spares and equipment
- Lead a team to set up, pack up, and proactively provide assistance to all guests using the equipment on the beach each day
- To create a centre specific operating procedure manual based around the standard operating procedure for the beach. This should be updated/adapted throughout the season depending on circumstances and conditions
- Keep up-to-date with local legislation and ensure the operation is always working in accordance with these laws
- Risk assess all aspects of the beach operation. Monitor this and update on a daily basis where required
- To practically help coordinate the set up of the beach at the start of the season and the pack down of the resort at the end of the season
- Train, motivate and appraise the beach team to ensure the highest levels of instruction, and coordinate and deliver a training programme assuming responsibility for the development of the instructors
- Develop positive working relationships with all departments
- Help organize and host social events, deliver briefings and generally interact with guests at all times
- Be flexible in your job role and willing to assist in all other duties as requested by your manager according to training you have been given
