Key Responsibilities:
1. Program Development and Management:
- Plan, organize, and manage CME programs to meet the professional development needs of healthcare staff.
- Ensure CME programs align with accreditation standards and organizational goals.
- Develop annual CME calendars and ensure timely communication to relevant stakeholders.
2. Accreditation and Compliance:
- Maintain compliance with national and international CME accreditation bodies (e.g., ACCME, CPD standards).
- Monitor and enforce adherence to CME policies, procedures, and guidelines.
3. Event Coordination:
- Coordinate logistics for CME events, including venue setup, materials, registration, and speaker arrangements.
- Evaluate CME activities through feedback surveys, attendance records, and impact assessments.
4. Quality Assurance:
- Collaborate with the quality department to align CME activities with the organization’s quality improvement goals.
- Analyze outcomes of CME programs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
5. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with clinical departments, physicians, and administrative staff to identify training needs.
- Establish partnerships with external organizations for joint CME initiatives.
6. Budget and Resource Management:
- Develop and manage budgets for CME programs, ensuring cost-effective utilization of resources.
- Oversee the procurement of educational materials and resources.
7. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of CME activities, attendance, and outcomes.
- Generate reports for internal review and submission to accreditation bodies.
8. Technology Integration:
- Implement and utilize e-learning platforms and technology to enhance CME accessibility and delivery.
- Manage online CME programs, ensuring user-friendly access and technical support.
9. Professional Development:
- Stay updated on trends and best practices in CME and quality improvement in healthcare.
- Attend relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
