Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:

- **Market Research & Lead Generation**: Conduct research to identify potential clients and new market opportunities in the logistics and freight sector. Generate leads through cold calling, networking, and digital outreach.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring satisfaction, retention, and identifying opportunities for additional services.
- **Sales Strategy & Execution**: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet company revenue targets. Conduct presentations, negotiations, and close deals to drive business growth.
- **Industry Knowledge & Trend Analysis**: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes within the logistics and freight industry, leveraging insights to enhance value propositions for clients.
- **Proposal & Contract Management**: Prepare and present proposals tailored to client needs, and manage contract negotiations to secure new business deals.
- **Cross-functional Collaboration**: Work closely with operations, finance, and customer service teams to ensure seamless service delivery and resolve any client issues promptly.
- **Performance Tracking & Reporting**: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market feedback, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:

- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- **Experience**: 2-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, ideally within the logistics or freight industry.
- **Skills**:

- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Goal-oriented with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
