**Reports To**:Chief Financial & Revenue Officer (CFRO) & CEO
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Market Research & Analysis**:
- Conduct in-depth research to identify potential business opportunities in printing, advertising, technology, fit-outs, and subcontracting markets.
- Analyze industry trends, competitor strategies, and market demands to develop actionable insights.
**2. Client Acquisition & Relationship Management**:
- Identify, target, and secure new clients, establishing long-term relationships.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients to maximize retention and business growth.
**3. Strategic Planning & Business Development**:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet business development targets and growth objectives.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnerships and collaborations to expand service offerings and market reach.
**4. Sales & Revenue Generation**:
- Achieve sales targets by developing proposals, delivering presentations, and closing deals across sectors, including printing, technology, advertising, and fit-outs.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
**5. Project Coordination & Client Servicing**:
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction on projects, especially those involving complex, cross-departmental collaboration.
- Address client feedback promptly, ensuring an optimal client experience throughout the project lifecycle.
**6. Financial Planning & Budget Management**:
- Prepare budget forecasts and revenue projections in line with business objectives.
- Monitor expenses and ensure project budgets align with financial goals.
**7. Reporting & Documentation**:
- Prepare regular reports on sales, business development activities, and client updates for management review.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client communications, contracts, and agreements for future reference.
**8. Team Collaboration & Mentorship**:
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to enhance business development strategies.
- Mentor junior sales and account management staff, fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
**Qualifications**:
- Education**:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- **Experience**:Minimum of 5+ years in business development, with proven experience in printing, technology, advertising, fit-outs, and subcontracting.
**- Skills**:
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to think strategically and implement business development plans effectively.
- Proficient in CRM and project management software.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
