As our Manager Vendor Operations, you will build the smoothest vendor experience in the Sultanate of Oman You will be the champion of vendors’ voice in the country when it comes to the quality of service being offered, and will constantly strive to take it to the next level

You will also support in positioning talabat as a platform of choice for our Partners and contribute to delivering a seamless experience during vendors’ journey from onboarding to activation along with the first 30-days performance checks. Lastly, you will develop innovative and structured improvement action plans to drive a difference for our vendors and customers

What's On Your Plate?- Lead our Vendor Operations in the Sultanate through building and scaling the country’s team for vendor onboarding, performance, and operations.- Be the champion of vendors’ voice in the country when it comes to the quality of service being offered and constantly strive to take it to the next level.- Achieve efficiencies and cost savings through the development and deployment of systems, tools, and workflows.- Manage the daily running of the assigned department, effective resource planning, and implementing relevant strategies to meet department goals and targets.- Collaborate with local and regional teams to understand the root cause of performance challenges and drive a philosophy of continuous business improvement.- Identify and solve complex qualitative and quantitative problems by analyzing and deriving insights from large, complex sets of data.- Work alongside the Commercial and the Logistics teams to reduce fail rate, restaurant delays, and improve preparation times.- Work closely with Local Operations, Commercial, and Product teams to optimize customers ordering experience.- Suggest product requests to regional teams to improve performance- Stay informed and aware of the industry, and always ahead of the competition- Work closely with regional teams and counterparts in other markets to learn best practices and implement relevant solutions in your market- Develop standard operating procedures, KPIs, talent evaluation, and a growth mindset.

What Did We Order?- At least 4 years of operations experience in a similar industry, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in leading teams.- Analytical, data-driven, and structured in approach to complex problems with a sense of urgency and the ability to react fast upon emergencies.- Self-motivated with the ability to work remotely and under pressure, assertive team player with high energy to work in a fast-paced environment, and excellent analytical skills.- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to drive employee morale, lead and manage a team of service executives including building strong partnerships with other functions, regional offices and global teams.- Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
