Business Development Executive

**Additional Requirements**:
- Diploma in Business/Engineering/Marketing**_
- At least 5 years sales/marketing experience in the oil & gas sector preferred.**_
- Good understanding of the local requirements and or statutory compliance related to E&I works in Qatar**_
- Possess driving license with own vehicle.**_
- Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills.**_
- Able to work indignantly and must be a team player (work closely with the overseas tender team)**_
- Willing and able to travel outstation and oversea as and when required.**_
**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
**Business Development Activities**
- Under the direction & leadership of the Business Development Director (and or Company Directors) to develop, identify project pipelines, and evaluate specific business opportunities in Qatar, the Middle East as well as support in the Region. Taking the initiative to take the lead for all BD activities in the Qatar & Middle East.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the local compliance and requirements.
- Understand the submission requirements and work with the Tender Team to ensure compliance.
- Co-ordinate and follow up the Submitted Proposals to EPC and Clients (Third Party).
- Prepare and Participate in any Client meetings and or business partners to pursue business opportunities and advance the organisation interests under the Guidance of Management.
- Proactive and Diligently follow-up on the proposals listed in the Sales Pipeline and look for new opportunities.
- Assist & Update, Submit Monthly Sales Pipeline (or any other reports) and arrange for Road Shows for the overseas offices.
- Work closely with the Superior / Senior Management to identify and evaluate new markets for existing products or services and other development & Marketing partnership opportunities.
- Network closely with the Group BDD in product/marketing and service management to leverage the success from other markets.
- Monthly Progress Report for the Region.
- Ensure customer retention and satisfaction for key customers (Get Client Feedback)
- Taking the lead on request for Tender Debriefs in the event of any unsuccessful bidding.
- Work with the local teams (Admin, HR, Projects, Maintenance Services, etc.) so as to understand the local statutory requirements.
- Managing sales process, compliance, and reporting functions to drive prospect, qualifying & developing the opportunity pipeline.
- Making Call Colds for sales visits.
- Assist to arrange annual trips to key identified EPC clients on a year basis.
- Updating of Presentation Slides/ Media or Product Brochures (as and when required)
- Assist Managing Director for given assignments & responsibilities. Ensure that the given responsibilities are well executed.
- Arrange and Participate the Outlook discussion annually.
- Assist in sourcing and establishing local subcontractors in support for project execution.
- Participate and assist in Monthly MEI Cluster Newsletter.
- Marketing Videos Creation / Launch during various medias.
- Take up and additional tasks / responsibility when assigned.
**Special Task**
- Ability to identify and proactive to work on any assigned new tasks.
- Willingness to take up any additional tasks / responsibility as and when required.
- Having the ownership to make things happen.
- Taking initiatives to improve any required processes / tasks.
