About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Doha Gossip. This role offers a unique opportunity to drive business growth and expansion through strategic planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Identify new business opportunities through partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and emerging business prospects.
  • Create innovative revenue streams through branded content, sponsorships, and advertising solutions.

Relationship Building & Management

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, advertisers, event sponsors, and media agencies.
  • Negotiate and close deals that align with Doha Gossip's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with partners to create mutually beneficial campaigns and activations.
  • Develop sales pitches and proposals for potential clients.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify cross-promotional opportunities to maximize revenue potential.

Brand Positioning & Leadership

  • Enhance Doha Gossip's brand presence through strategic PR and marketing initiatives.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking sessions, and business forums.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.

Performance Measurement & Analysis

  • Monitor business development efforts, partnerships, and revenue streams.
  • Provide regular reports and insights to the management team on business growth.
  • Use analytics to measure the success of business development initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnerships (preferably in media, events, or advertising).
  • Strong negotiation, networking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and develop long-term business relationships.
  • Experience in digital media, sponsorship sales, and content monetization is a plus.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
