Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana. As a Stewarding Shift Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our food processing facilities and operating equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the duties of all stewarding department employees to ensure seamless food service operations.
  • Monitor the consumption of all stewarding chemicals on a daily basis to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Conduct regular checks to ensure that service and kitchen operating equipment is properly cleaned and maintained.
  • Control and document all outgoing equipment and ensure proper receiving upon return to prevent losses.
  • Participate in monthly and annual inventory and prepare payroll-related documents for submission to the Department Head.
  • Attend regular Food & Beverage department meetings and conduct monthly meetings with Stewarding employees to foster open communication and teamwork.
  • Ensure that emergency exits are always clean and free of obstacles, and that exit doors are easily accessible from the inside.

Requirements

  • Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or food service environment.
  • Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Competencies in understanding the job, teamwork, taking responsibility, recognizing differences, adaptability, and customer focus.
