Hygiene and Sanitation Manager

As a key member of the Accor team, the Hygiene Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across all hotel departments. This role requires a strong understanding of industry best practices, health and safety regulations, and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Hygiene Policies: Create and maintain comprehensive hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Regular Inspections and Audits: Regularly inspect and audit all hotel areas to identify and address potential hygiene risks, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and Develop Staff: Conduct regular training sessions for hotel staff on hygiene, sanitation, and safety protocols, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to maintain high standards.
- Collaborate with Vendors and Suppliers: Work with external vendors and suppliers to ensure that all cleaning and sanitation products meet the hotel's standards for quality and safety.
- Address Guest Concerns: Respond promptly and professionally to guest concerns related to hygiene and cleanliness, ensuring a positive experience for all guests.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Environmental Health, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a hygiene or sanitation management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a five-star hotel.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including HACCP, ISO standards, and local health codes. Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
