The Job Description
- Manage accounts in the assigned territory to secure merchant participation, retention, advertising revenue, and drive redemptions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchant partners and support them throughout the year with tactical promotions.
- Solicit new business opportunities targeting the F&B, Leisure, Entertainment, Beauty & Fitness industries.
- Oversee sales cycles from prospecting to closing across the territory.
- Utilize available data effectively to retain merchants year on year.
- Communicate and sell new products and initiatives to the merchant base.
- Prepare various status reports, including daily activity, closings, follow-ups, and adherence to KPIs.
- Monitor market and competitor activities.
- Maintain effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Foster a team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and all levels of the organization.
- Stay self-motivated, driven, and committed to continuously learning and staying updated on industry trends.
- Possess strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously as well as manage your own time.
Key Requirements
- 2-4 years of local B2C or B2B sales experience in hospitality, F&B, media, retail, or FMCG industries.
- Familiarity with the territory's business environment and trends.
- A car is required due to extensive travel within the territory.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office – Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Fluency in English and Arabic; other languages are a plus.
