Front Desk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Delta Hotels City Center Doha. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Assist staff with expediting problem payments and follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
- Process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys.
- Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
- Set up accurate accounts for each guest upon check-in, including share-withs, separate room/tax/incidentals comp.
- Anticipate sold-out situations and obtain satisfactory alternative accommodations when the property cannot accommodate guests with reservations.
- Block rooms in the computer and identify designated requirements and requests.
- Contact appropriate individuals or departments as necessary to resolve guest call requests or problems.
- Coordinate with Housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in.
- Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks.
- Count bank at the beginning and end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- At least 1 year of related work experience.
- No supervisory experience.
- License or Certification: None
