Job Description

Ateca Consulting is seeking a seasoned Chief Investment Strategist to lead our fixed income investment management team in Qatar.

This senior role involves developing and implementing investment strategies that align with organizational goals, adapting to market conditions, and ensuring optimal portfolio performance.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement fixed income investment strategies that align with organizational goals and adapt to market conditions.
  • Provide strategic oversight for fixed income portfolio and fund management teams, ensuring optimal performance.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, making timely adjustments to achieve investment objectives.
  • Lead the development of fixed income funds, ensuring adherence to performance benchmarks and regulatory standards.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, prioritizing client satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of investment professionals.
  • Make informed investment decisions based on thorough research and quantitative analysis.
  • Ensure accurate and timely performance reporting for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and oversee audit processes.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences, client meetings, and relevant events to strengthen market presence.
Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this challenging role, you must have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience in fixed income investment management, with a proven track record in managing substantial fixed income portfolios with consistent performance results.

  • Key Requirements:
  • In-depth knowledge of fixed income markets, investment strategies, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive team performance and collaboration.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including fixed income modeling, risk management, and valuation techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying complex information effectively to diverse stakeholders.
  • Professional certification as a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) (Level 3) required.
  • Proven experience in managing fixed income portfolios or funds outside the MENA region.
Benefits and Compensation

We offer an attractive compensation package, including a salary range of $200,000-$300,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, plus benefits and bonuses.
