About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Printemps Doha. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for creating an exceptional dining experience for our customers by preparing and crafting a wide variety of sushi dishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Innovative Sushi Creation: Develop and execute unique sushi recipes that showcase your mastery of traditional techniques and cater to diverse customer preferences.
- Visual Presentation: Showcase your expertise in knife techniques and precision to create visually stunning and consistently perfect sushi dishes.
- Culinary Innovation: Design original sushi rolls that celebrate the rich tradition of sushi while embracing modern tastes and flavors.
- Knife Work Mastery: Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in knife work, achieving uniformity and artistry in every slice of fish and ingredient for our sushi dishes.
- Inventory Management: Collaborate with colleagues and management to optimize inventory management, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient kitchen.
Required Skills:
- Sushi Ingredient Mastery: Demonstrate expertise in sourcing and utilizing diverse sushi ingredients, ensuring the use of only the freshest seafood procured from reputable vendors.
- Time Management: Efficiently manage time to handle multiple orders seamlessly during peak service hours.
- Food Safety and Hygiene: Maintain a spotless and well-organized sushi bar, prioritizing food safety and hygiene for the utmost dining experience.
- Traditional Japanese Skills: Demonstrate mastery of traditional Japanese sushi skills, including slicing sashimi, rolling maki with finesse, and presenting meticulously crafted nigiri pieces.
