Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Credit Clerk to join our team at The Diplomatic Club. As a Credit Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting the Credit Manager in managing the Credit Department in a smooth and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely payment from customers in accordance with agreed payment terms and company debt collection procedures.
  • Verify and process invoices, making necessary adjustments and credits as required.
  • Ensure accuracy of invoices sent to customers for billing purposes.
  • Follow up and collect overdue accounts in a timely manner.
  • Prepare periodic collection reports and reconcile with Accounts Receivable system.
  • Monitor and control collection amounts, ensuring prompt deposit to respective banks.
  • Prepare Accounts Receivable report and monitor aging accounts.
  • Collaborate with managers to ensure adherence to accounting requirements and procedures.
  • Build effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain professionalism and adhere to company standards of conduct, attire, hygiene, uniform, and appearance.
  • Participate in training and development sessions as recommended by the Manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Micros, Infogenesis, and Hogatex will be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
