Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the maintenance of showroom appearance and contribute to the development of various sales promotions, showroom and internet displays in line with company policy and customer needs.
  • Conduct market research on current trends in a proactive manner and participate in internal and external training opportunities.
  • Record customer contacts and related information, updating records to develop opportunities for future business and enable effective prospecting and customer follow-up. Maintain an up-to-date customer database on SAP to drive current and future automotive sales.
  • Ensure accuracy of documentation and security of cash, cheques, vehicles, and other company resources in line with AAM's working systems, procedures, and standards, including legal requirements.
  • Deal professionally with customers from initial contact to satisfactory completion of sale, following a structured process to achieve the CSI target.
  • Collect and analyze data to assist the supervisor in preparing daily sales reports on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Recommend car models that best meet customer requirements/preferences and provide detailed information, including comparing different competitive models. Accompany customers on test drives.
  • Support newly recruited or less experienced sales staff by answering technical and procedural questions, educating and mentoring them on improved processes within the sales function, and supporting on-the-job sales training.
