About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead Mastercard's Training Hub in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and delivery of comprehensive training programs for Mastercard's EEMEA customer base.

Title and Summary

Director: Training Hub

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about creating a premium learning experience center of the future. The Director of the Training Hub will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive training programs that enable customer growth, foster innovation, and equip our customers with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in a rapidly evolving financial services industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to Mastercard's Training Hub, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  2. Training Program Development: Develop and implement cutting-edge training solutions that incorporate modern training methodologies, adult learning principles, and digital learning platforms.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with senior leadership, department heads, and regional customer base to identify training opportunities and ensure alignment with Mastercard's strategic priorities.
  4. Team Management: Build and manage a high-performing team, fostering an environment of continuous improvement, innovation, and collaboration.
  5. Quality Assurance & Evaluation: Establish and maintain rigorous assessment and feedback mechanisms to evaluate the effectiveness of the training hub and drive data-driven improvements.
  6. Innovation & Technology: Drive the adoption of advanced technologies and Mastercard Digital Innovation products and services to enhance learning experiences and improve scalability.
  7. Resource Management: Manage the training hub's resources, ensuring optimal allocation to meet center objectives.
  8. Global Coordination: Ensure consistency and scalability of training initiatives across all regions while allowing for local customization where necessary.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
  2. 10+ years of experience in learning and development, with at least 5 years in a leadership or director-level role.
  3. Proven experience in managing global training programs in a large, multinational organization.
  4. Strong understanding of modern training methodologies, adult learning principles, and digital learning platforms.
  5. Demonstrated ability to lead, influence, and collaborate with diverse teams across multiple regions.
  6. Excellent project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  7. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  8. Familiarity with financial services and the digital payments industry is a plus.
  9. Familiarity with Design Thinking and rapid prototyping is a plus.
