Job Summary

Asterix Communications is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a trusted advisor to senior line management, you will be responsible for providing strategic HR guidance and support to drive business performance.


Key Responsibilities

**Talent Acquisition**


  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to onboarding.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand business needs and develop targeted job descriptions.

**Employee Relations**


  • Provide expert advice on employee relations matters, including conflict resolution and performance management.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to improve morale and productivity.
  • Collaborate with line managers to create a positive and inclusive work environment.

**Workforce Optimization**


  • Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to optimize talent deployment and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to understand workforce needs and develop targeted solutions.
  • Manage the implementation of organizational changes, including restructuring and downsizing.

**Financial Management**


  • Develop and manage HR budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
  • Provide financial reporting and analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to ensure compliance with financial regulations.

**Governance**


  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure effective governance and risk management.
  • Provide guidance on HR-related governance matters, including data protection and confidentiality.

**Quality, Health & Safety**


  • Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with business leaders to ensure effective health and safety management.
  • Provide guidance on quality, health and safety-related matters, including risk assessment and mitigation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  • At least 10 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years of HR Business Partner experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to coach employees and management through complex issues.
  • Medium to advanced Excel skills and working knowledge.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and rapidly changing commercial environment.
  • Ability to set high personal goals and work independently.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize tasks.
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues.

Education

A professional qualification in Human Resources, Business Management, or a related field is required.
