Director of Human Resources

At Marriott hotels, we are seeking a seasoned Human Resources professional to join our team as a Director of Human Resources. This key role will report directly to the property General Manager and will be an integral member of the property executive committee.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition: Develop and implement strategies to attract, select, and hire top talent for the property.
  • Succession and Workforce Planning: Collaborate with the Regional Senior Director of Human Resources to develop and implement succession plans and workforce strategies that align with business objectives.
  • Performance Management and Development: Design and implement performance management systems to drive employee growth and development, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Coaching and Development: Provide coaching and development opportunities to HR staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support the execution of business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Education: 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; or 4-year bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major.
  • Experience: 4 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area; or 2 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area with a 4-year bachelor's degree.
