We are a dynamic organization seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for tax calculation and filing, preparing and submitting tax returns accurately and timely.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for tax calculation and filing, prepare and submit tax returns accurately and timely, including but not limited to CIT, WHT, and Contract reporting;
  • Fully involved in routine communication with tax authorities and responsible for supporting the company to obtain tax certainty;
  • Have a proficient command of Qatar's income tax laws, be familiar with the tax audit process of Qatar, and have experience in dealing with tax audits in Qatar;
  • Proactively conduct insights into the tax environment and tax audit trends of Qatar. Forecast and manage contingency plans, and resolve tax disputes in advance, support the implementation of tax solutions;
  • Prepare annual TP filings, CbCR, and related disclosures;
  • Understanding the VAT tax system of GCC countries and being familiar with the basic VAT logic will be a plus;
  • Be familiar with and comply with corporate tax processes and policies, and ensure the adaptation and implementation of the Group's overall solution in a single country.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Tax/Accounting/Finance;
  • Work experience as a professional tax manager for at least 2 years, big four tax advisors preferred;
  • With experience of Qatar tax filling (CIT, WHT and Contract Reporting);
  • Strong sense of responsibility, responsible for work quality and performance results;
  • Excellent logic, strong learning ability, able to withstand pressure;
  • Proficient in English and Arabic languages;
  • Knowledge of the China/Hong Kong & Qatar Tax Treaty and local accounting and IFRS Accounting standards are preferred.
