Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Front Desk Manager to join our team at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha Hotel. As a key member of our Front Office team, you will be responsible for leading and assisting with the successful completion of daily shift requirements.

About the Role

  • You will lead and motivate a team of Front Desk staff to ensure excellent customer service and achieve hotel goals.
  • You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, including managing guest interactions, handling complaints, and resolving issues.
  • You will supervise staffing levels to ensure guest service, operational needs, and financial objectives are met.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and Motivate the Front Desk Team
  • Utilize interpersonal and communication skills to lead, influence, and encourage others.
  • Advocate sound financial/business decision making.
  • Demonstrate honesty/integrity; lead by example.
Manage Day-to-Day Operations
  • Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work.
  • Handle complaints, settling disputes, and resolving grievances and conflicts.
Supervise Staffing Levels
  • Strive to improve service performance.
  • Understand the impact of Front Desk operations on overall property financial goals.

Requirements

  • You must have prior experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • You should possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make sound decisions under pressure.
