Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at The St. Regis Doha. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting in the management of daily kitchen utility operations and staff. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, maintaining high standards of quality and service, and driving guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in managing day-to-day kitchen operations, including ordering and managing necessary supplies, scheduling events, and monitoring inventory levels.
  • Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure excellent service and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen areas, equipment, and supplies to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve kitchen efficiency, reduce waste, and increase guest satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and high levels of guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 3 years of experience in a similar role or related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and service.
