Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Commi IRD Specialist to join our culinary team at Crew. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes for in-room dining orders, ensuring all food is presented in a timely and visually appealing manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to meet the high standards of our guests, ensuring all food is presented in a timely and visually appealing manner.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our guests and staff.
  • Menu Planning and Development: Assist in menu planning and development, taking into consideration guest preferences and dietary restrictions to create a unique and memorable dining experience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Room Service team to ensure all orders are delivered accurately and efficiently, providing exceptional customer service to our guests.
  • Training and Development: Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and development.
  • Inventory Management: Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Commi IRD or in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality food and exceptional customer service.
  • Culinary Education: Culinary degree or diploma from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in food preparation techniques and presentation.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and staff in a fast-paced environment.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment, with flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
