Job Title: IT Head of Application and Programming Section

Job Summary:

Talent Pal is seeking an experienced IT Head of Application and Programming Section to lead our software development and implementation efforts. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for managing the development, implementation, and maintenance of our software applications, with a focus on Odoo ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Odoo ERP Expertise:
  2. Lead the customization, integration, and deployment of Odoo modules to meet business requirements.
  3. Provide technical guidance and support for Odoo-related projects.
  4. Ensure optimal performance and functionality of the Odoo ERP system.
  5. Offer consultation on best practices and optimization strategies for Odoo implementations.
  6. Maintain deep knowledge of Odoo's capabilities, development frameworks, and implementation methodologies.
  7. Leadership and Management:
  8. Lead and mentor a team of software developers, application specialists, and programmers.
  9. Oversee the planning, development, and execution of application projects, particularly those involving Odoo.
  10. Strategic Planning:
  11. Collaborate with senior management to define the IT strategy and application roadmap.
  12. Align application development projects with business goals and priorities.
  13. Application Development and Maintenance:
  14. Oversee the design, coding, testing, and debugging of software applications, with a focus on Odoo modules.
  15. Ensure applications are secure, scalable, and maintainable.
  16. Quality Assurance and Compliance:
  17. Ensure that applications meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  18. Implement and maintain rigorous testing procedures and documentation.
  19. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  20. Foster a culture of innovation within the team.
  21. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.

Optional Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management:
  2. Manage the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC) from concept to deployment.
  3. Ensure that projects, especially Odoo-related, are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  4. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
  5. Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
  6. Negotiate contracts and ensure vendor deliverables meet quality and performance standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Extensive experience in software development, application management, and Odoo ERP systems.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Strong knowledge of software development methodologies, programming languages, and frameworks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven expertise in Odoo development, implementation, consultation, and continuous improvement.
