Job Title: Food and Beverage Supervisor

About the Role:

The Food and Beverage Supervisor is a key member of the Food and Beverage team, responsible for delivering exceptional quality and service to our guests. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring that all standards and sequence of service are met, and that our guests have an enjoyable and expertly served dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise the floor during meal periods to ensure that all standards and sequence of service are met.
- Suggest menu items to guests by offering appealing and precise descriptions of each item's ingredients, taste, and preparation methods.
- Communicate rapidly and accurately with the kitchen about any needs or requests regarding guests.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Properly and accurately close guest checks, process cash and credit card payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary items.
- Coordinate section of tables needs using service staff as a support in means of better serving the guests.
- Ensure the work area is ready for service with pre- and post-service checks completed, and assist in preparation of mise-en-place.
- Direct colleagues and take responsibility for quality and sequence of service in his/her work area.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in the same field.
- Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.
- Working computer skills and knowledge, including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Internet, and Micros.
- Good personal and professional references.
