About the Role

V2X Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Housing Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Housing Department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional housing services and support to our employees living in Doha, Qatar.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with the Housing Manager to ensure 100% accountability of Government Property and Materials in accordance with applicable Government regulations and Property Management Plan.
  • Provide assistance to the Housing Department to effectively manage all Government Furnished Property, including Company Leased Property and Materials.
  • Determine the condition of material and equipment, and arrange for the disposal of excess or obsolete property.
  • Prepare property disposition documentation and coordinate distribution.
  • Provide assistance, direction, and information to all employees as required, acting as a customer service representative.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance sub-contractor for replacement of appliances, equipment, and furnishings, and schedule pre and final clearance inspections for out-processing personnel.
  • Perform pre and final clearance inspections, including property inventory, and assist with Health & Welfare Checks.
  • Conduct pre-issue functionality checks of room appliances and equipment.
  • Review and ensure that housing assignments are in accordance with all V2X Inc rules and regulations, and local Qatar policy and laws.
  • Plan, coordinate, and inspect the issuance of beddings/linens, and prepare apartments for tenant arrivals and departures.
  • Meet and greet new employees at the airport, provide an initial briefing, and drop them off at their assigned company housing unit if needed.
  • Serve as a customer contact for housing issues, handle employee complaints and service-related issues tactfully, and act as a security representative in regard to tenant's property and company-related matters.
  • Ensure accurate accounting and reconciliation of issued accountable properties, the cleanliness and preparation of housing facilities, appliances, equipment, and proper monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Supervise the conduct of periodic preventative facility maintenance and coordinate health/safety/welfare inspections between V2X Inc Housing, the tenants, and Sub-contractors.
  • Coordinate with the maintenance sub-contractor for replacement of appliances, equipment, and furnishings.
  • Ensure that logistics and support services are adequate to respond to fluctuating and surge in housing requirements.
Requirements
  • High school or equivalent, or Associates Degree + 4 yrs. experience in Hotel Management or Property, or BS +1-2 yrs. experience in Management Administration.
  • Valid Qatar Driver's License.
  • Ability to transport electronic equipment to and from the base.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Five years experience in customer service field.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees and customers, and management at all levels in a multi-national diverse working environment.
  • Ability to handle confidential company and employee information with complete discretion and maturity.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
