About the Job


Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Customer Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our global organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our customers.



Key Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with Solar and customer HSSE policies and procedures.
  • Ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded.
  • Carry out maintenance activities in accordance with Solar Engineering specifications, recommendations, and best practices.
  • Recognize electrical/mechanical abnormalities and potential safety problems and take appropriate action.
  • Provide daily reports to the relevant manager on projects or daily work.
  • Accurately report and update all equipment histories.
  • Utilize sound judgment when analyzing problems and solve them in a timely and cost-effective manner.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will have served a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent period of training and possess a technical qualification such as a degree, HNC/HND, ONC, C&G, Aviation Engineer's license, Marine Engineers Certificate.


A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a related industry is required, with experience in an overseas/offshore environment being essential. Familiarity with rotating equipment and PLC systems is also necessary.
