Fintech Industry Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at Noqoody Payment Services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic partnerships, sales, and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identifying Business Opportunities: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, potential customer segments, and areas for growth. Explore opportunities in fintech-specific markets, such as digital payments, blockchain, lending, insurtech, or wealth management.
- Building Client Relationships: Develop and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing clients, ensuring long-term partnerships. Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, resolving issues and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Strategic Partnerships: Identify and engage with strategic partners such as banks, financial institutions, payment gateways, and technology providers. Negotiate and finalize agreements to create mutually beneficial alliances.
- Sales and Revenue Growth: Drive revenue by closing new deals, expanding client portfolios, and upselling or cross-selling fintech products and services. Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Product Customization: Collaborate with the product team to tailor solutions that meet client needs and market demands. Provide insights to improve product offerings based on customer feedback and market trends.
- Market Monitoring: Monitor competitive activity and industry developments to ensure the company remains ahead in innovation. Analyze customer data and behavior to identify patterns and refine sales strategies.
- Business Planning: Develop and implement business development plans aligned with company goals. Create detailed financial forecasts and track ROI for new ventures or projects.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (e.g., marketing, operations, legal, and compliance) to align business goals and strategies. Coordinate with technical teams for product demonstrations and client onboarding.
- Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on business performance, sales progress, and revenue achievements. Use CRM tools to manage pipelines and track client interactions.
- Company Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking sessions to promote brand awareness. Deliver impactful presentations to potential clients and partners, showcasing fintech solutions and services.
- Sales Targets: Reach sales targets given by the Top management (monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual).
Requirements:
- Fintech Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of fintech products and services, including but not limited to digital payments, blockchain, open banking, lending platforms, regtech, or insurtech. Familiarity with industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
- Financial Services Experience: Knowledge of banking, payments, financial operations, and the broader financial ecosystem. Awareness of compliance and security protocols like PCI DSS, KYC, AML, and GDPR.
- Market Insights: Deep understanding of customer needs, competitor offerings, and market dynamics. Ability to identify profitable market segments and opportunities for growth.
- Sales & Marketing Skills: Proficiency in creating sales strategies and implementing go-to-market plans. Familiarity with digital marketing techniques and lead generation in fintech.
- Technology Familiarity: Awareness of software solutions, APIs, and platforms commonly used in fintech. Basic knowledge of SaaS business models and digital transformation strategies.
