Proposal Development Manager

We're seeking an experienced professional to contribute to the development of cutting-edge electrification solutions in Qatar. This position reports directly to the Service Operation Manager.
Your Key Responsibilities
As a Proposal Development Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams in developing compelling proposals that meet customer needs and exceed expectations. Each day, you'll leverage your expertise to define costs, prepare documentation, and provide technical support to clients. Your analytical skills will also be utilized in conducting lost proposal analysis, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending changes to enhance future results. The work model for this role is onsite, focusing on electrification in Qatar.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Leading the development of proposals that meet customer requirements and Sales organization directives.
- Coordinating with the Sales organization/customers to determine suitable solutions and prepare competitive offers.
- Analyzing market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Conducting lost proposal analysis, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending changes to enhance future results.
- Defining costs for proposed solutions and communicating them to the Sales organization.
- Contributing to risk review processes and ensuring compliance with ABB policy.
- Integrating HSE and integrity requirements into business processes and applications.
- Participating in project kick-off meetings.
- Providing technical support during client meetings and offering product/service-related training.
Qualifications for Success
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong English communication skills.
- Deep knowledge of LV & MV components.
