Job Title: Project Assistant Support and Administration

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Assistant Support and Administration to join our team at Precision Hire Solution. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our project team, ensuring the smooth execution of projects, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the project team, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Assist in the implementation and monitoring of project activities, ensuring timely completion and adherence to project plans.
  • Retrieve, compile, and present information/data on specific project topics, as required.
  • Support administrative coordination of project implementation, involving liaison with diverse organizational units and external parties.
  • Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery and bringing them to the attention of the supervisor.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables, presentations, and other forms of documentation.
  • Organize meetings, workshops, and training sessions, as required.
  • Respond to general information requests and inquiries, set up and maintain files/records.
Requirements:
  • School diploma with four years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's degree in political or social sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights Law, or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience in liaising with governmental authorities, national/international institutions, United Nations agencies, and non-governmental organizations.
  • Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking, and other vulnerable groups.
  • Prior relevant professional experience in NFIs distribution in a humanitarian context.
  • Prior experience working in camps.
Skills:
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Publisher) and Office 365 (SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams).
  • Excellent operational, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to work harmoniously with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proven experience in drafting reports and other information products.
  • Experience in project management, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting will be an advantage.
Language:

IOM's official languages are English, French, and Spanish. For this position, fluency in English is required (oral and written).

Working knowledge of Arabic, Dari, Pashto, and Urdu is an added advantage.
