Receptionist Job Description

A Receptionist plays a vital role in providing exceptional experiences for our Guests from check-in through check-out. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver prompt and efficient service to Guests, ensuring a positive outcome from their queries.
  • Manage the reception experience, including check-in/check-out and audit procedures, to the highest standards.
  • Communicate effectively with the Front Office Manager and Reception Supervisors, sharing relevant feedback from Guests and other departments.
  • Provide a high level of customer service at all times, adhering to Hilton Hotels' brand standards.
  • Participate in training courses and contribute to the Night Team's training and development efforts.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of hotel room categories, rates, packages, and promotions to perform daily duties effectively.
  • Maximize room occupancy and utilize up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities.
  • Adhere to hotel credit policy, security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments as needed.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a customer-focused industry.
  • Completed high school certificate or equivalent.
  • Positive attitude, good communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent grooming standards and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Competent level of IT proficiency.
