Senior Manager Finance-cargo Revenue Accounting

**About Role**

This role is responsible to manage Cargo Revenue Accounting (CRA) and Cash Office process development unit within the Sales to Cash service line to ensure that the output results of Cargo Revenue Accounting and cashiering functions and systems are in line with set policies, procedure, standards and internal controls. You will play a role of a strategic partner for the progress and development of the the team. You would also be responsible in technology related projects by involving in the process improvement and implementation of any new system fixes or enhancement of Cargo Revenue Accounting or cashier systems. You will lead and develop CRA and cashier teams to ensure smooth operations.

You are the strategic partner to Qatar Airways Cargo and provide full Cargo Revenue Accounting support for all Cargo initiatives in order to achieve Qatar Airways Cargo mission and vision.

**Responsibilities**
- Support IATA and industry initiatives related to Cargo Revenue Accounting and participate in any of the IATA system Pilot testing.
- Introduce process improvements through an automated solution in Cargo Revenue Accounting system or any other system used by Cargo Revenue Accounting unit to bring operational efficiency within department.
- Develop effective and efficient cash collection/cash banking strategies to increase control and reduce cost
- Responsible on delivering the efficient and trusted service for overall Qatar CRA activities and deliverables ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of Cargo and Postal Mail revenue accounting and month end closing.
- Ensure timely billing and accounting of Cargo and Postal Mail to CASS, Non CASS, Postal and government authorities and Cargo Interline Inward and Outward Billing to Other Airlines.
- Responsible for processing and accounting of Cargo General Sales Agent (GSA) Commission, Over Riding Commission, Global Incentives and Local Incentives.
- Ensure timely release of Cargo IRIS MIS revenue and reports publication to the stakeholders after accounting month is closed in CROAMIS.
- Ensure processing tasks undertaken by the Business Processing Outsourcing (BPO) is in line with the agreed SLAs and KPIs stated in the contract.
- Participate in any new cargo business discussion which require a new billing or revenue processing set-up by providing readily available/work around solution which are workable and acceptable by Cargo business.
- Provide necessary guidance to outsourced processing unit (BPO) on CRA processing matters related to the new businesses.
- Review and approve Business Requirement Document (BRD) and Change Request (CR) document for system enhancement.
- Validate and provide confirmation on any system upgrades, fault fixes and enhancements and ensure proper system testing documentation are retain for future reference.
- Responsible on delivering the efficient and trusted Cash Office services for overall QDF and QAS excess

**Qualifications**:
**Knowledge Skills & Experience**
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum of 10 years of job related experience
- Sales to Cash experience
- Experience in managing Cargo Revenue Accounting unit in Airline or BPO
- Experience in managing projects/system change related to Cargo Revenue Accounting
- Have prior understanding of in house or BPO processing with hands on experience on a fully integrated Cargo Revenue Accounting System.
- Basic Cargo Tariff, Ms Office suite, Business Objects
- Good in analytical skills, knowledge in cargo rates/tariffs, TACT rules & proration
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels in the organization
