**About the Role**
- Collaborate with executive leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support the airport's overall business goals.
- Take part in the development of the Division strategic business plan and alignment with the MATAR HR strategy.
- Through Centers of Excellence, drive strategy for expert areas e.g., Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Remuneration and Policies.
- Project manage and lead on assigned HR projects in order to support process change, developments and policy and procedural reviews.
- Challenge the status quo and strive to review the ways of working to bring about efficiencies and new ways of working. Persuade and influence key stakeholders in order to gain buy in to any change initiatives.
- Partnering with executive and senior leaders to define, develop and execute organizational and people strategies and initiatives that align structure, culture and talent with business priorities, and MATAR vision, mission and values.
- Drive and participate in succession planning and talent management initiatives to ensure the availability of qualified leaders and professionals.
- Lead change management efforts, helping the organization adapt to evolving business environments while maintaining employee satisfaction.
- Participate in the review of HR Operating model and look for better adoption that fits the business needs.
- Provide expert HR guidance to senior management on a range of people-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
- Organisational Design - Ensure that the organisation is appropriately designed to deliver organisation objectives in the short and long-term and that structural change is effectively managed.
- Manage complex employee relations issues, facilitating meetings and providing resolutions that are aligned with company policies and legal requirements.
- Oversee the design and execution of employee development programs, training initiatives, and career pathways to enhance employee skills and promote internal mobility.
- Collaborate with the talent acquisition team to ensure a consistent and effective hiring process, attracting top talent to support the airport's growth.
- Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention, ensuring a positive work environment and strong employee-manager relationships.
- Monitor and analyze employee feedback, implementing action plans to address concerns and improve the overall employee experience.
- Champion diversity and inclusion efforts, fostering a workplace that values and promotes equity among all employees.
- Responsible for the leadership and coordination of a team of HRBP professionals within the assigned business unit.
- Guide and support HR teams on the appropriate and effective implementation of the HR requirements, HR frameworks and initiatives.
- Define and drive improvements in performance culture in line with corporate principles, work with leaders to translate department strategic goals into meaningful outputs that contribute to business results.
- Coach and support senior executives in their understanding and management of a high-performance culture for all employees.
- Lead HR team towards achievement of the departmental objectives through setting individual goals, managing / measuring performance, developing and motivating staff through formal feedback.
- Highlight risk to senior executives as appropriate, and work with businesses on rectification plans for identified gaps.
- Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department
**Qualifications**:

High School Qualification / Vocational Qualification /Diploma or Equivalent (Type of Diploma Based on Role) with Minimum 9 years of job-related experience
**OR**
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience
**OR**

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Years of progressive HR experience within the airport industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of industry dynamics and challenges.
- Proven track record of successfully partnering with senior leadership to drive HR strategies that align with business goals.

- In-depth knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and best practices relevant to the airport industry.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
- Command of English language
- Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members.
