OFFSHORE PROJECTS

**Primary purpose of job**
Play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and cost-effective procurement of materials and equipment essential for the

project. Close collaboration with project teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to streamline the supply chain process

and maintain project schedules is required. The position will serve several offshore projects, offering an opportunity to

directly impact project success and operational efficiency.

**Experience & Skills**:

- Experience in oil and gas industry in multi-discipline engineering, procurement and construction environment. Preferably
having formal training in supply chain, logistics and membership with recognized chartered or other professional institution.
- 12 years’ experience for degree holder or 15 years’ experience for diploma holder in similar position in Oil & Gas sector.
- Experience in GCC is desirable.
- Previous experience supervising and managing EPC Contractor is required.
- Previous experience in Project Management role is required.
- Previous working experience with Chinese companies as well as proficiency in the Chinese language knowledge is a plus.
- Proven experience in EPC Engineering, procurement, expediting, inspection, logistics or materials coordination within the

oil & gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract management, and supply chain processes.
- Experience in identifying and managing spare parts requirements.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal teams and

external suppliers.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Savvy in preparing and managing Project Procurement Plans.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes for different types of material.
- Excellent perception of PO placement cycle from time of the material requisition until delivery including document reviews,

manufacturing, FAT, transportation, and delivery.
- Collaborate with QA/QC to verify testing requirements, the quality and specifications of ordered materials, ensuring

compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Ability to coordinate across different stakeholders and act as focal point to expedite and facilitate communication between

Company and Contractor on procurement related issues including direct communication with vendors and suppliers.
- Acute problem-solving skills to resolve complex problems that have implications beyond Procurement.
