Quality and Operations Manager

**JOB SUMMARY**:
Provides technical leadership for the location to assure high quality service to the client. Forecasts equipment requirements, defines technical problems or equipment design limitations and contributes to solutions. Works with field management to correct technical problems. Monitors introduction of new services and/or equipment and insures clear lines of communication for the flow of technical information

Coach the service personnel and facilities throughout Qatar to achieve the highest quality standards and service quality.

Manage procurement, Operation support team, and Qatar, Logistics, warehouse and Assets.

**RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
**Quality & HSE and Reliability**:

- Deploying specific and generic SQ and HSE training.
- Assessing Area specific HSE risks, and mitigation measures to address them;
- Preparing HSE plans required to ensure optimum minimization of the above and compliance to HSE policies, standards and procedures, whether generic or BU specific;
- Ensures that all non-conformance Quality and HSE events are properly notified, investigated, reviewed and followed up, as per the NOV QMS and participates in investigations of major failures and accidents, as required by the standards.
- Coordinates HQ related client QHSE annual reviews.
- Work with the Reliability group and
- Ensures to document all best practices and lessons learned from field operations into the appropriate knowledge management system. Ensures that the service and maintenance of rental and newly build equipment meets requirements of business and international standards

**Assets, facilities & Maintenance**:

- Maintaining an effective Maintenance organization and coordinating support
- Ensures to document all best practices and lessons learned from field operations into the appropriate knowledge management system.
- Ensures that the service and maintenance of rental and newly build equipment meets requirements of business and international standards
- Coordinate intra regions Loans, transfers and operations support.
- Manage Assets & Inventory annual counts as well as monitor utilization of rental fleet
- Acts as Subject Matter expert (SME) for Business Unit specific QHSE knowledge, and ensures that best practices, lessons learned and alerts are available and distributed to all locations.
- Leads CAPEX Planning, ordering, and asset Optimization and Management.
- Maintains interface to the Technical services organization, and ensures appropriate sustaining competency, documentation, resources, budget and priorities are in place.
- Develops and maintains a high level of awareness and active personal involvement among all Personnel through prevention and reporting of noncompliance.

**QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS**:

- Engineering degree or equivalent
- 5 years’ minimum experience in oilfield related activities / maintenance and service shop preferred
- Experience with international certification such as ISO 9001 and API
