Equipment Processing Standards Officer

As the Equipment Processing Standards Officer, you would be responsible to receive airline loading plans and instructions from the airline (such as schedule change, service upgrade, MUP update, new equipment, new fleet introduction, new destination inauguration, seasonal sectors, etc.), translate into a working document, highlight the specifics and communicate updates to all operational departments prior to implementation and/or modification. You would also be responsible to plan airline equipment, materials and products required for the day-to-day operations as well as forecasted demand and growth opportunities, ensure quality of information within the departments and consistency in the interpretation of airline communication.
Additional Accountabilities:
- Be involved in all critical levels of galley equipment, products, materials, beverages and amenities stock forecasting and planning based on GLPs, MUPs and the relevant changes, to ensure sufficient supply of all required items for smooth functioning of the department.
- Be the internal custodian of Airline Galley Loading Plans (GLPs), Catering Services Instructions (CSIs), QAIZEN data base management for Stowage labels, Check Sheets, Meal Uplift Pattern (MUP), etc.
- Receives Galley Loading Plans and instructions from Customer Service Department; analyses and conducts trials, such as on board fit check, to study and confirm operational feasibility. Also, suggests changes and alternatives to minimize packing, loading and handover challenges and optimize operational efficiency.
- Responsible to update QAIZEN data base for Equipment, Bond ,Laundry and Assembly modules in order to maintain all required information and updates on the stowage labels and check sheets.
- Conducts internal verifications to ensure that team is accurately following latest and relevant airline instructions and updates.
- Leads all periodical float inventory exercises on Equipment, Dry goods, Bar and Beverage items in order to have accurate float and on-board inventory and ensures timely submission to Stores department or directly into airline inventory portal, whichever is applicable.
- Responsible to ensure timely inventory exercise and submission to the respective airline customers.
- Forecasts equipment and products requirement based on aircraft operations including start-ups. Updates change of schedules and Meal Uplift Patterns (MUPs) in order to stay ahead of the curve for planed business growth.
- Supports the operations of whole Airline Services including Equipment Processing and Bond Stores as and when required.

**Qualifications**:
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience
- Working knowledge of Airline Galley loading plans
- Working Knowledge of Airline Portals & Galley Loading plan data base
