Superviser et coordonner le travail des cuisiniers et de la brigade. Déterminer le dressage des plats et créer des décorations alimentaires. Assurer des portions, un dressage et une garniture appropriés pour le service. Surveiller la quantité de nourriture en cours de préparation. Informer l'équipe du service de restauration des plats retirés du menu et du nombre de spécialités disponible. Préparer des plats spéciaux ou des ingrédients de substitution. Aider les cuisiniers et la brigade pour différentes tâches. Fournir les articles dont les cuisiniers ont besoin. Surveiller le stock des fournitures et des denrées alimentaires de la cuisine. Tenir à jour les journaux de la cuisine pour les programmes de sécurité sanitaire et les denrées alimentaires. Garantir la qualité des aliments et prévenir un responsable si un produit ne répond pas aux spécifications. Aider la direction à embaucher, former, planifier, évaluer, conseiller, rappeler les règles de disciplines, motiver et accompagner les employés.

Suivre et appliquer toutes les politiques et procédures de sûreté et de sécurité de la compagnie ; signaler les besoins d'entretien, les accidents, les blessures et les conditions de travail dangereuses au responsable ; suivre les formations et certifications sur la sécurité. S’assurer de porter un uniforme de travail propre et complet ; avoir une apparence soignée et professionnelle en tout temps sur les lieux de travail ; respecter la confidentialité dans la diffusion d’informations propres à la bannière et/ou à l’hôtel et protéger tous les biens de la compagnie. Répondre aux demandes de service des clients. Utiliser un langage clair et courtois lors de toute communication. Développer des relations professionnelles positives et constructives avec vos pairs ; s’unir et s’entraider afin d’atteindre les buts communs ; écouter et répondre de façon appropriée aux problèmes des autres employés. Assurer le respect des exigences et des standards de qualité. Être habitué à travailler debout, assis et à être en mouvement sur une longue période de temps. Pouvoir faire des mouvements d’extension et de flexion sur les genoux, notamment se pencher, se tourner, tirer, se baisser. Déplacer, soulever, porter, pousser, tirer et placer des charges pesant 12 kilos maximum de façon autonome. Effectuer toutes les autres tâches demandées par les responsables et qui correspondent au poste.
