Mechanical estimator provides specification and design of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for architectural projects within defined budgets.
- The estimating of mechanical systems involves ventilation equipment, HVAC, building automation & controls, plumbing, hydronic systems & boilers, storm & sanitary drainage, utilities, fire protection, conveying equipment, service and maintenance equipment, pumps, storage tanks, compressed air and natural gas systems.
- Have extensive experience in a similar role ideally within a construction industry
- Have the ability to do complete estimates on sections of larger projects and full estimates on smaller to mid-size projects
- Ensure the efficient operation of all systems in accordance with the Business Management System (BMS)
- Analyse enquiry contents, extracting commercial requirements and advising all interested/participating departments of the requirements
- Interpret the “Scope of Work” and where necessary, formulate and place Sub‐Contract Enquiries and appraise subsequent responses
- Attend “Pre‐Tender Meetings” and “Site Visits” and assessing all salient features
- Perform “Quantity Take‐Offs” of materials and labor operations

**Mechanical Estimator Requirements**:

- With a minimum of 5 years experience.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field is advantageous.
- With the ability to interpret blueprints.
- Only Freelancer will be accepted.
- Must be locally available in Qatar.
- A holder of valid QID.
- Can join immediately.
- Contract duration is 3 months (extendable)
